About

Healthy Wave offers a broad range of home PEMF mats, from simpler Classic models to higher-intensity and highly adjustable Multi-Wave systems.

Healthy Wave PEMF Mats

Healthy Wave is for the person who already knows they want a PEMF mat—and then discovers there are far more choices than expected.

Small mats, full-body mats, chair mats, chakra mats, higher-intensity mats, infrared, red light, different crystals, different frequencies. It's a lot.

The easiest way to approach Healthy Wave is not to start by comparing every individual mat. Start with how much control you want over the PEMF itself.

At the simpler end are the Classic PEMF Mats, which let you choose frequencies between 1 and 30 Hz. Step up to the High Intensity range and you get a wider 0.25–30 Hz range and higher published output. Then there's Multi-Wave, Healthy Wave's most adjustable line, with 12 programs and control over frequency, intensity, waveform and pulse duration.

Prices are just as varied, ranging from a few hundred dollars for smaller Classic mats to nearly $4,000 for larger Multi-Wave models.

So there isn't really one “Healthy Wave Mat.” There are several ways into the range.

Classic PEMF Mats

The Classic range is probably the easiest place to start.

These mats use PEMF frequencies from 1–30 Hz and combine PEMF with far-infrared heat, negative ions and crystals. Some versions also add photon/red-light therapy.

You can also choose the size that makes sense for your space.

A smaller mat or chair pad is useful if you don't want a six-foot piece of wellness equipment permanently living in your room. Full-body versions are there if lying down for a session is what you have in mind.

For example, Healthy Wave currently lists a 60 x 24-inch 5-Therapy full-body mat for $849, while its 4-Therapy chair/car mat is $549.

That's one thing we like about this range: you don't automatically have to spend $1,500 or $2,000 just because you want a PEMF mat.

High Intensity PEMF Mats

The High Intensity line gives you considerably more published PEMF output.

These mats offer frequencies from 0.25 to 30 Hz, with 32 settings and four quick-start multi-therapy modes. Healthy Wave publishes an average surface output of around 5 gauss, with peaks above 20 gauss on its high-intensity models.

That's a significant specification difference from the Classic range.

It doesn't mean we'd automatically tell everyone to buy the higher-intensity mat. More intensity isn't the same thing as “better,” and we don't make medical claims about what a particular PEMF strength will do for you.

What it does mean is that if adjustable intensity and output are part of how you're comparing PEMF mats, Healthy Wave gives you more information to work with than many consumer brands.

A 72 x 24-inch High Intensity 5-Therapy Mat is currently listed at $1,149.

Multi-Wave PEMF Mats

This is where Healthy Wave gets more interesting for someone who doesn't want to be limited to a handful of preset PEMF settings.

The Multi-Wave line offers 12 advanced programs, but you can also create your own.

Frequency can be adjusted from 1–30 Hz. There are five intensity levels, a choice between square and sine waveforms, and three pulse-duration settings.

That's considerably more control than you'll find on something like a HigherDOSE mat.

Of course, there's a flip side to that.

If you don't know what waveform you want—and have absolutely no desire to find out—paying extra for all that control may not make much sense.

But for someone who has already been researching PEMF and specifically wants to adjust how the mat operates, Multi-Wave is one of the more configurable consumer-style mat systems we've looked at.

Current prices run from about $995 to $3,949, depending on size and configuration.

What About the Chakra Mats?

Healthy Wave also has a separate Rainbow Crystal Chakra PEMF range.

These combine PEMF with infrared heat, photon therapy, negative ions and a mixture of crystals associated with the seven traditional chakras.

They're currently priced from roughly $899 to $3,500, depending on the model and size.

This one is going to come down to what you're actually interested in.

If the crystal and chakra side of the product appeals to you, Healthy Wave gives you that option without giving up PEMF.

If you're here purely because you're comparing PEMF specifications, we'd concentrate on the PEMF controls and mat size rather than choosing based on the number of crystals inside it.

Healthy Wave vs. HealthyLine

There's an important distinction to understand here.

Healthy Wave sells PEMF mats through HealthyWaveMat.com, but some of the products it sells identify the underlying model as InfraMat Pro manufactured by HealthyLine. That includes examples in both its Classic and High Intensity ranges.

So Healthy Wave and HealthyLine aren't two completely unrelated PEMF manufacturers that happen to make similar-looking products.

If you've already looked at HealthyLine, you may recognize some of the product architecture.

The reason to consider Healthy Wave separately is the way the range is packaged and sold, the Healthy Wave-specific comparison structure, its Multi-Wave options, customer support, bonuses and warranty coverage offered when purchasing through HealthyWaveMat.com.

That makes it worth comparing the exact model, package and price rather than assuming two similar-looking mats from the two sites are necessarily different products.

What Does Healthy Wave Cost?

Healthy Wave covers a surprisingly large price range.

Current ranges published by the company include approximately:

5-Therapy Classic — $349 to $2,999
4-Therapy Classic — $449 to $2,950
High Intensity — $599 to $1,499
Rainbow Chakra — $899 to $3,500
Multi-Wave — $995 to $3,949

The important word there is range.

A $349 starting price doesn't mean you're getting a full-body mat for $349. Size makes a substantial difference, so compare like with like.

Healthy Wave also runs sales and sells open-box mats, which means the price you see today may not be the price someone sees several months from now.

Check the official Healthy Wave website for current prices, promotions and exactly what's included before purchasing.

The 90-Day Trial

Healthy Wave currently gives buyers a 90-day trial period.

You can use the mat and return it during that period, provided it comes back in good condition without stains, smells or damage. The buyer is responsible for return shipping, and original shipping costs—including the company's actual shipping cost when free or subsidized shipping was used—aren't refundable.

That's worth knowing with a full-body gemstone mat. Returning a large, heavy mat isn't quite the same as mailing back a pair of shoes.

Still, having three months to decide whether you actually want to keep something that may cost well over $1,000 is useful.

Warranty

Warranty coverage depends somewhat on the mat, so this is another place where we'd check the individual product before buying.

Healthy Wave currently lists five-year controller coverage across its main PEMF ranges. Mat coverage varies, with some models receiving two years plus three additional months of full coverage and others receiving one year plus three months, followed by extended coverage that can run as long as five years.

Later years of the extended warranty can involve deductibles and shipping costs, so “five-year warranty” doesn't mean every repair or replacement is completely free for five years.

Read the warranty for the exact mat you're buying.

Who Is Healthy Wave Best For?

Healthy Wave is a good fit if you want a home PEMF mat but don't want to be locked into one or two models.

You can start with something relatively simple and affordable, choose a full-body mat, move into higher intensity, or buy a Multi-Wave system with considerably more control.

It's especially interesting for the buyer who has done enough PEMF research to care about things such as frequency, intensity and waveform.

Someone who doesn't care about any of that may actually prefer a simpler company.

There's nothing wrong with wanting four buttons instead of 40.

When We'd Look Elsewhere

If you want a professional PEMF machine with separate handheld or targeted applicators, Healthy Wave isn't really competing with Curatronic, MagnaWave or Swiss Bionic.

And if you want the simplest possible consumer experience, HigherDOSE is easier to understand: essentially choose the big mat or the small one.

Healthy Wave's strength is choice.

Its weakness is also choice.

You'll probably spend more time comparing models here than you will with some of the other consumer brands in this directory.

A Word About Health Claims

Healthy Wave discusses PEMF in connection with a wide range of health and wellness uses on its website.

We don't independently claim that a Healthy Wave mat will treat pain, cure a condition, speed healing or produce a particular medical result.

Healthy Wave itself states that its products are not intended to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent a medical condition and advises users to consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding personal health concerns.

The company also states that people with pacemakers, defibrillators or similar implanted devices should not use the PEMF feature because of potential interference.

If you're considering PEMF because of a health condition—or have an implanted device or another medical concern—review the manufacturer's current safety information and speak with an appropriate healthcare professional before using it.
